The Lieutenant Governor in Council, on the advice of the Minister of the Environment, Conservation and Parks (Minister), appoints the Centre’s Board of Directors of up to 12 members. Members hold office for terms of up to three years and are eligible for reappointment for successive terms. The Board of Directors is accountable to the Ontario legislature through the Minister and, under the leadership of the Chair, is responsible for overseeing the management of the Centre’s operations. The Board of Directors meets regularly. It currently has 12 members.
