Course Overview
Participants will learn best operational and maintenance practices for small drinking water systems to ensure the system is meeting its design objectives and providing high quality drinking water.
Through the discussion of various case studies, participants will have an opportunity to examine circumstances creating adverse test results, identify causes and discuss opportunities for implementing Best Management Practices (BMPs) to avoid future issues.
Target Audience
Owners and operators of small drinking water systems as defined in the Ministry of the Environment’s O. Reg. 170/03. Successful completion of this Director approved course can be used to maintain your “Trained Person” designation as defined under Ontario Regulation 170/03 of the Safe Drinking Water Act.
