Course Overview

This course provides participants sufficient background and information to allow them to perform pump operation in an effective and safe manner. Instruction will include an overview of centrifugal pump components and their functions.

Participants will gain the ability to read pump curve and understand the effect of the system curve to choose the best duty point for the pump. Participants will also gain an understanding of the best operational practices to save energy, and how to utilize pump condition monitoring as an effective tool to ensure better pump performance while reducing maintenance costs.
