Managing Algae in Drinking Water Systems

This course provides participants with an overview of algae and blue-green algae. Background information and the impacts of algae and blue-green algae on drinking water systems will be discussed along with monitoring and mitigation techniques. A practical hands-on portion of the course is dedicated to algae identification and algae measurements.
This course is directed to drinking water treatment operators at any level, from OIT through to Class 4, who want to learn more about algae and blue-green algae.
