The eighth annual Maintenancefest is set to take place August 28 and 29, 2018 at the Walkerton Clean Water Centre (WCWC).
Maintenancefest is a unique hands-on event that allows participants to cycle through six training modules of their choice, earning 1.2 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) over the course of two days. Planned modules include:
- Basics of Utility Locates – New!
- Chlorine Safety – SOLD OUT
- Continuous Free Chlorine Monitoring
- Fire Flow Testing
- Frozen Service Connections
- GIS – NEW!
- Iron and Manganese in Groundwater
- Leak Detection
- New Watermain Disinfection – SOLD OUT
- Pressure Control Valves – SOLD OUT
- Ultraviolet Absorbance and Transmittance
