8th Annual Maintenancefest: Only 8 Spots Remain

The eighth annual Maintenancefest is set to take place August 28 and 29, 2018 at the Walkerton Clean Water Centre (WCWC).

Maintenancefest is a unique hands-on event that allows participants to cycle through six training modules of their choice, earning 1.2 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) over the course of two days. Planned modules include:

  • Basics of Utility Locates – New!
  • Chlorine Safety – SOLD OUT
  • Continuous Free Chlorine Monitoring
  • Fire Flow Testing
  • Frozen Service Connections
  • GIS – NEW!
  • Iron and Manganese in Groundwater
  • Leak Detection
  • New Watermain Disinfection – SOLD OUT
  • Pressure Control Valves – SOLD OUT
  • Ultraviolet Absorbance and Transmittance

Maintenancefest will run 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. both days, with lunch provided. Register soon for the best selection of modules at wcwc.ca/registration, or contact us at 866-515-0550 or training@wcwc.ca. The cost to register is $430.00 + HST.
