Walkerton Clean Water Centre Hosts Successful Maintenancefest Event In Smiths Falls
The unique training event offered five hands-on training modules on topics such as logbook entries, continuous free chlorine monitoring, frozen service connections, new watermain disinfection, and UV absorbance and transmittance. Forty-seven participants rotated through three modules of their choice, earning 0.6 Continuing Education Unit (CEU) over the course of the day.
Feedback from participants was excellent; every respondent indicated that they would recommend the event to others.
WCWC is also preparing to host the eighth annual Maintenancefest in Walkerton on August 28 and 29, 2018. Participants will cycle through six training modules of their choice, earning 1.2 CEUs over the course of two days. Three new modules have been developed for this year.
