The Walkerton Clean Water Centre (WCWC) is seeking a qualified postsecondary student to support the delivery of its programs. This position reports to the Manager, Research & Technology Institute and works under the technical guidance of the Lead/Scientist, Technicians and Trainers.
Key Technical Duties:
- Conducting experiments and analyzing samples
- Operating and maintaining the pilot systems
- Maintaining and calibrating the monitoring equipment
- Collecting data from the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition System (SCADA)
- Assisting trainers and course participants in the preparation and delivery of hands-on training
- Setting up the pilot systems and the laboratory to support training and pilot testing
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Manager
