The Walkerton Clean Water Centre (WCWC) is seeking professionals in the drinking water industry to contribute to its training initiatives.
WCWC has released a Request for Bid (RFB) seeking qualified individuals to deliver training, assist with the development of training curriculum and help create innovative training delivering methods. Individuals must have significant experience in the drinking water industry (municipal systems, small drinking water systems, and First Nations communities) and have superior communication skills and experience delivering training.
WCWC uses electronic tendering to ensure open, competitive procurement processes. To submit a response to this RFB, proponents must order the RFB document through BravoSolution, https://ontariotenders.bravosolution.com. There is no cost to participate in this process.
The closing date for submissions is June 29, 2018.
Background: WCWC is an agency of the Government of Ontario, established in 2004, to ensure clean and safe drinking water for the entire province. WCWC coordinates and provides education, training and information to drinking water system owners, operators and operating authorities, and the public, in order to safeguard Ontario’s drinking water. Through partnerships, WCWC also provides training for the 133 First Nations communities in Ontario. To date, high-quality training has been provided to more than 76,000 participants across Ontario.
