WCWC is seeking a Student Technician for winter placement or co-op

The Walkerton Clean Water Centre (WCWC) is seeking a qualified postsecondary student to support the delivery of its programs. This position reports to the Manager, Research & Technology Institute and works under the technical guidance of the Lead/Scientist, Technicians and Trainers.

Key Technical Duties:

•       Conducting experiments and analyzing samples
•       Operating and maintaining the pilot systems
•        Maintaining and calibrating the monitoring equipment
•        Collecting data from the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition System (SCADA)
•        Assisting trainers and course participants in the preparation and delivery of hands-on training
•        Setting up the pilot systems and the laboratory to support training and pilot testing
•        Perform additional duties as assigned by the Manager
