Quantitative Microbial Risk Assessment (QMRA) Course Resources
This course will provide participants with an understanding of the Quantitative Microbial Risk Assessment (QMRA) process and its applications for drinking water. Through the use of The Health Canada model, participants will learn the key input data required, the impact of treatment failures and the effect of additional treatment barriers. The session will use a combination of case studies and group exercises to demonstrate the use of the QMRA model and interpretation of results. Participants will also learn the assumptions and limitations of QMRA, and review risk management concepts related to QMRA.
