NEW E-LEARNING COURSE: Exam Prep Water Treatment Class III & IV Math

Walkerton, ON — The Walkerton Clean Water Centre (WCWC) is pleased to announce the launch of a new course, Exam Prep Water Treatment Class III & IV Math, developed specially to support drinking water treatment operators in preparing for certification exams and strengthening their practical math skills.

“Supporting operator competency is essential to protecting Ontario’s drinking water systems. This new course supports drinking water operators preparing for Class III and IV certification by strengthening the practical math skills they rely on every day. It also marks the first in a series of exam prep courses WCWC will be launching in 2026,” said Brian Bates, WCWC CEO.

Exam Prep Water Treatment Class III & IV Math is a self-directed e-learning course that introduces participants to key math concepts essential to water treatment operations. Topics include calculations for flow rates, detention times, chemical dosages, hydraulics, pumps and other operational mathematical applications. The course features clear explanations, practical examples, and multiple practice questions to reinforce learning and support exam readiness. Participants who successfully complete the course will earn 0.9 continuing education units (CEUs).

This course is ideally suited for drinking water treatment operators preparing to write Class III and IV certification exams. The content may also be valuable for Class I to IV drinking water treatment operators seeking to refresh or strengthen their math skills.
