
The Walkerton Clean Water Centre (WCWC) is pleased to announce two new additions to its catalogue of online, self-directed courses, Introduction to Cisterns and Recordkeeping Requirements.
Introduction to Cisterns reviews the basics of water cisterns. The course will provide participants with information on the CSA B126 Series-13 Water Cisterns standard, where it outlines requirements for potable and non-potable cisterns. This course is intended for anyone requiring a foundational knowledge of cisterns and their requirements, from installation to maintenance. Successful participants will receive 0.2 Continuing Education Units.
Recordkeeping Requirements provides participants with an overview of key sections of regulations pertaining to recordkeeping. Various methods of recordkeeping will be examined, along with the requirements to record special instructions, abnormal conditions and other pertinent information. This course has been developed for drinking water system operators of all certification levels. Successful participants will receive 0.1 Continuing Education Units.
WCWC is always expanding its course offerings to meet the needs of water system operators. These new courses join WCWC’s catalogue of online, self-directed training and more than 25 live virtual courses that are available to any participant with an internet connection.
