The Walkerton Clean Water Centre (the Centre) recently delivered the Entry-Level Course for Drinking Water Operators in Toronto, designed to support new operators working toward achieving their Class 1 drinking water certificate.
Many new water operators participated in the five-day classroom training held from April 28th to May 2nd, 2025.
During the course, participants gained a solid understanding of water characteristics, treatment and distribution processes, and the regulations that govern water quality in Ontario.
